About
Officially founded in 2016, I decided to reboot BlackLight in February of 2020. It started as a support group for the black artists within my undergrad program. At the time, the department lacked the proper representation and skill needed to help artists like myself. So BlackLight became a safe-haven for artists that felt like they didn't have a voice. After performing for a couple years, I noticed the lack of resources and proper representation within the industry. Thus upstarting BlackLight for all People of Color!
BlackLight is an organization where we help artists of color build their brand and artistry.We create networking and performance opportunities to help propel their career to the next level.
Our Services

Showcases: providing a platform for POC that will allow freedom of expression throughout the spectrum of entertainment.

Virtual Masterclasses: Professional classes in an informal atmosphere that will help build yourself. These classes will help you grow mentally and emotionally, so that you have the capacity and adaptability to excel in this Industry.

Theatre Debuts: producing minority plays/musicals written, directed, and performed by people of color.
